"
There are three words that very seldom go together: young, Native, Jesus-loving. There are young Natives, but they don’t love Jesus. There are Natives who love Jesus, but they tend to be grandmas. To find a young, Native, Jesus-lover is very rare, and therefore very valuable. What’s rare is valuable. There are a number of reservations – and we have contacts with a lot of them – that are desperate for somebody to come in and be a model of hope, who is the age of the most important people to reach the young people.”

Stanford Pow Wow 2026 !!

Beneath the canopy of endless blue, Where ancient spirits whispered as they flew, We lift a prayer for every tribal soul, That grace may touch and make the spirit whole. May the Apache find a lasting peace, Where inner wars and heavy burdens cease, As morning light begins to softly break, May they the Savior’s hand in courage take.

For all the Comanche on the open plain, Let healing fall like gentle summer rain. A freedom found in Christ, the Living Way, To guide them through the trials of the day. May the Cherokee in mountains high and green, Find depths of mercy they have never seen, To accept the Lamb, the Savior of the lost, Who paid for every soul the ultimate cost.

Through Navajo lands of red and golden stone, Let the message of the cross be clearly known. Beyond the beauty of the desert sand, May they be held within His nail-scarred hand. The Sioux who walk the rolling northern grass, May see the shadows of the old life pass, To rise in baptism, washed and born anew, With hearts committed, faithful, and so true.

Among the Hopi on the mesa tall, May the Gospel’s invitation reach them all. Let education be a lamp to light the mind, Leaving the chains of bitter vice behind. May the Nez Perce find strength in every stride, With addiction’s heavy darkness cast aside, Replaced by kindness and a caring heart, From which the Spirit’s fruit shall never part.

In Seminole glades where quiet waters flow, May the seeds of holy fellowship now grow. Let every pow wow be a joyful sound, Where love and brotherhood are always found. The Iroquois in forests deep and wide, Shall find the Lord is walking by their side. May every nation, every tongue and name, The saving power of the King proclaim.

For Blackfeet sons and daughters of the north, Let a new and holy lineage come forth. To know the Christ is to be truly free, And live in grace for all eternity. From the Crow to the Pueblo in the sun, The work of restoration has begun. United in a faith that never ends, As brothers, sisters, and eternal friends.
